Welcome to "Broke Leg Falls", a truley glacial wonder land. My daughter "Jessica",(right) her friend "Danielle", left.
I seem to be running everywhere taking their pictures!!
When you arrive, "take caution steps can be very slippery".
The smaller waterfall is a cascade of ice. The water falls into the ice then runs beneath the ice and over the fall.
" A volcanoe of ice", is the only way to describe what we saw and it was huge. The water flowed into the center that caused a bright blue hue on the inside. (This small glacial iceberg stood 40 to 50 feet high).
The icicles were massive. Look above the icicles at the tiny walkway.
Had a great time taking pics. Come on down take some pics for your album or tantalize your friends on facebook.
Father-Daughter pics. Myself and Jessica!
Massive icicles! Still hard to believe!
Its like being at the antartic, kind of a surreal feeling!!!
Looking down fromthe waterfall you could see the snow covered bridge. Its a long way down. For more info call us at 859-428-1733 !! (Thanks for your interest)!
